 Reebok Launches its Largest Store in the World in Hyderabad, India

Reebok has launched a 15000-sq feet exclusive store at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The new Reebok store is the largest single-brand store in the world. The new store was unveiled by Subhinder Singh Prem, Managing Director, Reebok India.

Subhinder Singh Prem said, “The opening of biggest Reebok store in the world in the city of Hyderabad is indeed a proud moment for us. With 500 stores across the country and now the launch of this store, we hope to delight our customers with greater and more easily accessible choice. The store would house all categories of Reebok sports, fitness products and our Lifestyle collection catering to both men & women.”

The opening was followed by a fashion show displaying Reebok's fall winter 2007 collection.

Reebok’s two-floor store has customized sections displaying products according to categories such as Running, Walking, Aerobics, Tennis, Cricket and Lifestyle. The store also contains sections for women’s dance wear, fitness, training, and sports collection.

The highly stylized store aims to provide experiential shopping. The store has a built-in escalator with a two-floor high glass wall that displays footwear placed in a circular fashion around it.

At the Reebok store, customers will also be able to design their own shoes by selecting colors and materials.

Reebok India plans to increase its store count to over 600 outlets before 2008. As of now, Reebok has 500 exclusive Reebok Stores, 200 shop-in-shop outlets, and 2500 dealer outlets.

Reebok India has 51% share in the premium sports wear industry in India. Reebok, which started operations in India in 1995, now has branch offices in Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore. Reebok has also initiated fitness programs in India and has trained over 900 trainers so far.
