NINTENDO REVOLUTION LAUNCH NEWS

Nintendo Revolution launch by end 2006?

The launch of the so-called revolutionary Nintendo Revolution will be in end 2006 earliest. No further news on the controller or graphics capabilities yet, either.

2 Nov, 2005: The Nintendo Revolution (yes, that console with the magic wand controller) could be launched simultaneously around the world - if you take 'simultaneously' to mean stretched over a period of 14 weeks!

revolution and controller image A top Nintendo executive has said that's the way it's gonna be. The launch of the Nintendo revolution should happen at the end of financial year 2006 - that's March, 2006 - and it may appear in the US only by January 2007.

Shigeru Miyamoto, a top Nintendo executive recently dropped hints about breaking free of the television for its future consoles and games, but also mostly ruled out the possibility of that happening during the Nintendo revolution launch. So so far, we feel that while the Nintendo Revolution Controller may be revolutionary, no such thing can be expected for the viewing experience.

In graphics, all we know so far is that Nintendo revolution will have graphics that are equal to anybody else's such as the Playstation or the XBox 360 - but nothing better is promised.

Nintendo Revolution games are also not expected to give us even a sneak peek before they are almost ready according to sources.

For we at digi-help, we are waiting with bated breath to see what is going to happen with the Nintendo Revolution controller - it has already generated heated arguments. While believe that the Controller breaks free of the limitations of current game console controllers, others believe all that is crap, and have promised to purchase it. We are all for the TV-remote control-like magic wand controller for the revolution, though. Hopefully, it should do something for our ever-inceasing weight.
