SANDEEP ACHARYA

Name: Sandeep Acharya

Date of Birth: February 4, 1984

Place of Birth: Bikaner

From: Bikaner

Education: Bachelor of Science

Keyword: SANDEEP

This 21-year-old from Bikaner is often likened to Udit Narayan—which has not gone down well with some audiences who feel he is more of an imitator who doesn’t have a style of his own. Others feel that Sandeep’s voice is closest to that of an Indian playback singer.
Sandeep got into music very early in life and was always focused on his training. He is now in the top three of the show.

According to him, his biggest threat is Anuj Sharma. Says Sandeep, “Anuj is my closest competitor because he has the voice and the quality of a professional singer as he has learnt singing and is experienced.”

As for his strengths, he says, “My uniqueness is my voice quality, and I don’t think even Anuj can top that.”
