L6 mobile phone - get your RAZR cheap!
Motorola L6 photo

For its high price, the RAZR never really made sense. However, the
cheaper Motorola L6 may offer the best of both worlds.
17th November, 2005: Half the fun of the Motorola RAZR is the clamshell, flip-opn design. The other half is the almighty slimness and the aluminum finish of the keypads. For you cheapos out there, Motorola has on offer the new Motorola L6 - a phone that you can pass off as a RAZR at a glance.
Just take a look at the photos of RAZR and L6, and it definitely looks
tolerable.
Price
We have no clue. Motorola website has nothing on the pricing, and none of the news stories have anything either. Considering that a RAZR costs 13,000 approx., the L6 should cost less than Rs. 10,000 or maybe even Rs 8,000. Pretty sensible for a phone that does not look like a brick, and can do most of the tricks.
L6 Feaures
GSM, Bluetooth, MMS, VGA camera, video capture and playback - the basic works are all there. the Motorola RAZR itself is not the most practical phone out there. The Motorola interface is not the most-loved, and hardcore Nokia users must think again if they want to go for the L6.

Aesthetics and convenience
The RAZR has the most atrocious display we can have in India - our sun makes it impossible to read the screen even in moderate daylight. Will it change for the L6? It better. Overall looks are definitely better than the brick-like phones that we are saddled with in India. Its thin, its aluminum, it's got a decent-sized screen and camera and what not and what's there to complain about then?
