Oscars yes, music album no says, Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon not to take cue from musical role in her in Oscar-nominated movie 'Walk the line''.

Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon is mighty pleased with her 2006 Oscars nomination for the best actress, but she would not take cue from her role in the movie "Walk The Line" do something similar.
On Monday, the Reese Witherspoon said she told media persons that she had no plans to come out with an album.

The 29 year-old Reese Witherspoon said she is not keen to follow the path of her peers in Hollywood including Lindsay Lohan and "Star Trek" star Leonard Nimoy, by dabbling in music albums.
"No, I wouldn't do that to you all," Witherspoon said.
It may be noted that Witherspoon is competing with the likes of Felicity Huffman (Transamerica), Charlzie Theron (North Country), Judie Dench (Mrs Henderson presents), and Keira Knightley (Pride and Prejudice), for the best actress Oscar in the 78th annual Academy Awards to be held in March.
Witherspoon plays the role of singer June Carter Cash in "Walk The Line".
Though singers have a made a mark in Bollywood the reverse has not happened.Will Smith and Queen Latifah have won accolades in their acting careers, while actors Cybill Shepherd, Nimoy, "Kojak" star Telly Savalas and Steven Segal do not have much to boast about in their musical forays.
Baywatch star David Hasselhoff got some recognition in Germany. Talking to reporters during the Oscar nominees' luncheon at Beverly Hills, Witherspoon said she did not attach much significance on what she will wear for the awards ceremony to be held on March 5.
Th glamourous Witherspoon said her six-year-old daughter with actor Ryan Phillippe, Ava, was also thrilled at her mom being chosen for various awards.
