George Michael is back in the dock. On Monday, George Michael was arrested when he was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car. The police had received complaints that a car was obstructing traffic in North London. They arrested Michael on the suspicion of possessing cannabis and not being fit to drive.
This latest bit of trouble comes at a time when Michael is all set to launch a new album that will commemorate 25 years in the music industry. Just a week ago, Michael had started a world tour that is his first in 15 years.
Michael had also been arrested and warned earlier this year for the possession of cannabis.
According to sources, bigwigs at Sony/BMG are not impressed with Michael's behavior. They feel Michael is getting more and more unpredictable and attracting unnecessary attention to his private life.
The label has pumped millions into Michael's relaunch this year and feel that Michael is jeopardising his own career by not seeking help for his addiction.
Some time ago, Michael had been caught after a sexual encounter with a jobless man in the woods near his house.
On his part, Michael has denied that he had addiction issues. Recently, Michael's partner, Kenny Ross, went into rehab for alcohol addiction.
However, Michael's shennanigans do not seems to stop his fans from flocking to his performances and according to sources at SONY/BMG, ticket sales for Michael's concerts in the world tour have been very good. As far as his fans are concerned, Michael continues to rock.
