The 2007 Cadillac Escalade

Definitely an improvment over last year's model, the new Cadillac Escalade hets more bling, more hip-hop styling - and overall better mechanics.

21st November, 2005: Cadillac has unveiled the 2007 Escalade, its next generation SUV. Cadillac is represented as the American icon of beauty, performance and design.

Cadillac's new 2007 Escalade was unveiled at an exclusive event at Milk Studios in New York. The show was hosted by Melania Trump.

The worldwide premiere of the new Cadillac 2007 Escalade was held in Beverly Hills last week at the grand opening of "Escalade on Rodeo". 

Jim Taylor, Cadillac general manager said, "since its inception, Escalade has been a design icon -- a luxurious vehicle that discerning customers aspire to own". The latest design marvel from Cadillac comes with an instantly recognizable form that introduces the next step in Cadillac's design renaissance.

The 2007 vehicle is almost the ame size as the Escalade it replaces. There is a lot of the hip hop, bling look to it what with 22 inch wheels and a pile of chrome - which is not overdone, Cadillac executives are quick to assure anyone. The Escalade's prices are also expected to be in the same range as they are today.

There has always been a strong connection with Cadillacs and famous personalities including filmstars. This can be traced back to 1903 when Cadillacs were driven by Jean Harlow and Elvis Presley. 

The Cadillac 2007 Escalade comes loaded with features like all-new powertrain, chassis, rack and pinion steering, safety and interior systems. These features make Cadillac 2007 Escalade the most powerful and most efficient luxury SUV in the segment. The Cadillac drives on 6.2L all-aluminum V-8 engine with variable valve timing technology delivering 403 horsepower (301 kw) and 417 lb-ft of torque. Braking is supposed to be better too with an improved system with larger rotors and stiffer front calipers.

The new cadillac has spacious interiors with superior refinement and also has a new distinctive exterior design. 2007 Escalade comes in an efficient six-speed automatic transmission with Drive Shift Control. The Cadillac family's old connection with high-end music and radio has been reinstated in the new model with new radio family, including available navigation radio with touch-screen control. 

The first quarter of 2006 will mark the launch of Cadillac Escalade, with extended-wheelbase Escalade ESV and Escalade EXT models to be introduced later in the year.
