16th November, 2005: Car makers Ferrari has announced that it will produce the Ferrari FXX (also known as the Super Enzo), the next F-series car. Ferrari had earlier denied reports that it will produce the super "Enzo", which was spotted at Ferrari's test track some time back.
Not every ferrari fan can expect to get an FXX. The FXX cars will be only 20 in number. Also, only hard-core loyal Ferrari fans will get this golden catch. Ferrari has announced that it will sell those 20 cars only for those select group of clients. Ferrari wants only the most loyal Ferrari customers to have the FXX.
More than just being a super Enzo, Ferrari FXX is a $1.8 million Ferrari experience. We can be sure that a lot of people will be disappointed since the number is very low. Those customers who get the golden chance to win FXX will get enrolled in the Ferrari's racing program. The Ferrari FXX comes with an enormous 800+ hp powered engine. To handle this power monster, one should go through some training.
The training program includes some driver training and some support resources to handle the beast. Ferrari does not expect its FXX owners go racing through the public roads. So it will offer its customers to store their FXX in factories. The car can be transported throughout Europe for various events.
The Ferrari racing program also consists of a telemetry system which will provide tremendous data to the Ferrari engineers. This data will be combined with data from their professional drivers. This move will help Ferrari to develop both race and production car development programs for the future.
