Fiat's new mini-SUV Fiat Sedici

Fiat is planning to sell its new mini SUV in Europe - Fiat Sedici. Fiat plans to make 2000 Sedici landcruisers by next year. 

With the introduction of Sedici, Fiat plans to have a tight grip on the min SUV market in Europe where its rivals clearly have an upper hand.

Fiat is also planning to sell its 5000 Panda cross four by four models. The news was announced by a Fiat spokesman at a presentation of the cars. 

The competitors for the Fiat Sedici will be Ford Focus and the Volkswagen Golf.

Fiat Sedici landcruiser will be launched in Italy on March 10, 2006. Fiat aims to sell 12000 Sedicis in Italy and another 8000 in major European countries. 

The Winter Olympics in Turin, which run in February will be having the Fiat Sedici as its official car. As of now, the price of Fiat Sedici is unknown. 

The Fiat Sedici will be a 4X4 hatch-back, which will be available in three and five door models.
