SAMSUNG SPRINT EVDO PHONES

Sprint intros Samsung MM-A290 and MM-A900 on EVDO network

6th December,2005: Samsung and Sprint have anounced two new handsets, the Sprint Power Vision(SM) Phone MM-A920 and the Sprint Power Vision(SM) Phone MM-A900. Both phones which are built on Sprint's power Vision EVDO network provide customers the facility to access news and entertainment content at broadband-like speeds. 

The two models - MM-A900 and MM-A920 sports Sprint Music Store, thereby enabling users to buy and download songs completely to their phones. Samsung MM-A920 and Samsung MM-A900 also has 30 channels of live and on demand video and audio from Sprint TV(SM) and On Demand, a personalized resource guide to news, traffic, weather, sports and entertainment.

Jeff Hallock, vice president of product marketing and marketing strategy for Sprint said," the MM-A900 and MM-A920 offer great-looking design with the ability to download a rich selection of content directly to the phone. Features like external music-navigation keys make these phones both functional and attractive.With services that are unrivaled in the industry, these handsets are sure to be at the top of many holiday wish lists".

Both Samsung MM-A920 and Samsung MM-A900 come with 1.3 mega-pixel camera/camcorder with a flash and zoom. The Sprint Power Vision phones have phone-as-modem capabilities.

Samsung MM-A920 has an embedded music player and external music navigation controls. So the user can have access to thousands of songs for instant download. Also the Samsung MM-A920 allows users to store and transfer their favourite songs and videos.


The Samsung MM-A900 is the thinnest Power Vision phone available from Sprint. Made of Magnesium, the MM-A900 looks as a perfect fit for the fashion-conscious user. 
Both Samsung phones come with Bluetooth technology for hands-free connectivity.

Both Samsung MM-A900 and Samsung MM-A920 can be purchased from Sprint stores or at www.sprint.com. Prices start at $349.
