Signature Diamond collection from Vertu

21st November,2005: Vertu has come up with its Signature Diamond collection. Vertu phones are for the high maintenance people of the old - the ones who are high maintenance, and are not embarrassed about telling you so, too. 

For those of us who use phones to make calls, and maybe send SMSes or even MMSes, a Vertu would look like an exercise in ostentatiousness. We can say so on our site because their butlers when they surf the Net for their bosses while they get their salon treatment, are hardly going to describe this to them. Why lose a well-paying job?

Invitation only events in New York, London, Paris, Moscow, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai will feature the Vertu Diamond collection. The Vertu will be available in selected stores.

The phones which use gold, platinum and diamond in their bodies are an ultimate expression of craftsmanship and exclusivity. 

The Vertu has models of Signature 18 Carat Yellow Gold and Signature 18 Carat White Gold set with pavé and half-pavé diamonds, and the Signature Platinum which is set with a 0.25 carat solitaire diamond, in its Signature Diamond collection.

Expert craftsmen spent many days to hand-cut the diamonds, thus proving the commitment of Vertu phones to excellence.

Vertu phones will take eight to ten weeks for delivery. But whose who place their orders before mid October 2005, will have a Vertu in their hands by the time of Christmas.

Every phone in the new Signature Diamond collection will follow the Grand Complication timepieces tradition. Its intellectual property protected by a set of 74 patents and each handset has 388 mechanical components. 

The Signature Diamond Collection which comes with Vertu Concierge, is going to be the next big thing for Vertu admirers.
